Photos of Zion National Park, Wednesday, June 22

Approaching Zion is beautiful in itself
Parking in what little shade we could find, we began to explore.
There is a free shuttle bus service that drives past all the points of interest.  You can get on and off any time at any of the appointed places.
Everywhere is breath taking
There are natural springs that emerge from the sheer cliff face.  They are called the hanging gardens.
This little river caused most of the erosion creating the canyon.  During stormy weather, the flow can be 100's of times this.
As it was, it was flowing too fast for the park to allow hikers to reach the upper canyons.
