Trip through Utah, Idaho, and Oregon
Photos and Notes from Day 10, Monday, June 27
Prev. Day |
On the road again, with
apologies to Willie. We packed up and headed west from
Burley, Idaho.
Arriving in
Ontario, Oregon. Our last state for this
trip before returning to good old California.
Today we rode through some
wonderfully rich farm lands full of many luscious fields of
crops and past a couple of very stinky feed lots.
We
did manage a stop at the
High Desert Harley Davidson dealer which happens to be located
in
Meridian, Idaho.
We stop about 5 miles into Oregon and about 400 miles from the coast
as the crow flies, but unfortunately the roads take a more
circuitous path. So we'll be heading west the
next couple of days. |

Clear signs of another type of motorcycle riding. |

This is one "reduce speed" sign I'd better obey |
Summer is vacation time. Summer is also road repair time. |

Nah, that speedometer doesn't
read 80, does it? |
