First stop was at the post office In part, this was just for nostalgis, I have used this as an ABC stop several times in the past |
Next stop was at the Half Moon Bay Old Jail |
Then a little up the coast to the El Granada Post Office "E" cities are not all that common |
Then down the coast to Pescadero First stop was the Pescadero Post Office Hmm, seems to be a trend here... A passer-by was nice enough to take my photo |
In front of the post office was a beautiful stand of California Poppies in full bloom |
The Country Bakery in Pescadero makes a wonderful artichoke, garlic, herb bread that I like and terrific sandwiches. I recommend their "godfather" |
Of course I cannot visit Pescadero without stopping at the Harley Farms Goat Dairy The new kids are about three weeks old and had recently been de-horned |
|
The day was beautiful and the water was blue |
Wild flowers were putting on a show |
Saturday, March 19th, the weather is again great, mid 60's So more letters are out there for me to achieve |
|
I headed up 880 to Fremont for an "F" As always, 880 is a nightmare I had previously visited Foster City but was unsatisfied with the photo |
Next stop was the Alameda County Courthouse |
Headed over to Newark |
Then to Union City In the adjacent park, they were having a farmers market |
Finally, I rode through Castro Valley to pick up Dublin for my "D" |
On the way home I stopped in Pleasanton and had a sandwich |
