Possible Day Trip: Kennebunkport & Portland, Maine
We would like to make an excursion east
into Maine.

Kennebunkport: the Kennedys
Portland: bookends across the country
Bridgton: small town, heart of Maine
227 miles, Route and Directions
A. Laconia, NH
B. Kennebunkport, ME
C. Portland, ME
D. Bridgton, ME
E. Laconia, NH
Note: getting to the Maine coast will take us onto Route 16.  It is a toll road.  Have cash ready.
I-95 is a toll road going up the coast of Maine.
There is a parallel Highway-1 which, although slower, will be much more scenic, more fun, and free.
