Today starts in Eureka, California
And finishes in Reedsport, Oregon

As I left Eureka, CA, the sky was bright and clear the temperature was about 62, and I was feeling good "O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay" There is a point north of McKinleyville where, as you crest a hill, you get first glimpse of the ocean
Trinidad Post Office, 357 Main St
Along the Humbold Lagoons the fog reared it's head, but remained off shore all day
The Orick Post Office is right on the highway As I walked around behind to water a tree, I discovered the Orick community hall, who knew?
The Klamath Post Office is actually on the Yurok Indian Reservation along with the tribe's casino
In Crescent City I got photos for Del Norte County Courthouse, 450 H St and for the Redwood National Park
The Brookings post office is not only tough to get to, but is not proud enough to put the city name on the wall
If I remember correctly, Port Orford, has this National Forrest ranger station I will research this to make sure of the city
Bandon, right on the coast, has a nice beach boardwalk and marina

Bandon had lots of festivities happening there on a sunny, summer Saturday a farmers' market, a live music festival, and an antique and hot-rod car gathering
There is a plastic polution museum where they make sculptures from the plastic bottles they find on the beach
Coos Bay Highway 101 HD Dealer, 536 S 2nd St This dealership's motto is "As West As It Gets"
In Reedsport, I found the Douglas County Courthouse Annex and I wanted to be doubly sure of a county "D" letter and bedded down at Best Western Salbasgeon Inn & Suites
I may definitely encounter rain tomorrow and must re-think the route for days to come
Also, the Delta Fire north of Redding has 45 miles of I-5 closed so I might have trouble coming through and getting home unless they make fantastic progress in the next few days
