Day's Route Overview: Yesterday I purposely pushed it to be a long day. Today is the payoff. I was able to sleep in with the excuse that I wanted to visit a nearby Harley dealer in Eugene and I was not sure if they opened before 9 or 10. Planned 180 miles. |

Eugene, Oregon is the county seat of
Lane County and has a
Lane County Courthouse 125 East 8th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97401 I was not able to get a photo of the courthouse, but I did find a sign with Lane County on it. It appears that folks in Lane County can cast ballots by dropping
them into a drive-by box. |

Salem, Oregon has a Harley Dealer,
Salem Harley-Davidson 3601 Silverton Rd N.E. Salem, Oregon 97305 Open Monday thru Sunday, salemharley.com, 503-363-0634 I did stop by and get a dealer pin here as well. |

I arrived in
Portland about 12:15. Heidi and I had a nice
lunch at Elmer's. We wanted to go to Sweet Tomatoes, but at half past noon, it was overwhelmingly crowded so we bailed on that. Heidi, Katy, Nicholas, and Tylor spent a nice day together. When Russ came home, we did go over to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. |
